Cobblestone Construction, Inc. is looking to hire paver-hardscape installers for the 2018 season.

This position includes but not limited to the construction of paver driveways, patios, pool decks, retaining walls, landscape construction, and planting installations for both commercial and private residences in the Boise and McCall area.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Installs paver driveways and patios; stone, block retaining walls.

• Understands elevations and uses this knowledge to execute the construction plan.

• Operates, proficiently, a variety of mechanical equipment

• Operates automatic vehicles, such as truck and trailer combinations.

• Completes the necessary paperwork

• Plans and organizes the job, ensuring that sufficient resources and materials are available. Also ensures that job is completed in the most time-efficient manner.

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including work site and equipment.

• Maintains assigned equipment and notifies owner of needed repairs.

Qualifications

• Two years of hardscape and landscape installation experience preferred

• Strong oral and written communication skill

• Able to lead, manage and communicate with co-workers and clients

• Experience installing driveways, patios, retaining walls, walkways, raised patios and outdoor kitchen installations

• Operate/use all landscape tools & equipment effectively.

• Valid driver’s license

Physical Demands

The physical demands listed here are typical of what will be encountered on the job site. While performing the duties of this job, installers are regularly required to stand; walk; crouch; stoop or kneel; reach with hands and arms; talk, and have the ability to hear. This position requires regularly lifting and/or the ability to move up to 80 pounds and work outside in various and inclement weather conditions.
